This is the second painting I made with tea bags. Square Lemon Zinger tea bags. I steeped a batch, laid them in a straight row along the top edge of the paper, and let them dry. I repeated the process, row by row, over a week—always reusing the same bags. As the tannins faded, each pass grew lighter, recording a gradient of time until the sheet was fully covered.
