Non-Floral Scarves: Six Designs Made From Tea

None of my designs are floral. Each one starts as tea steeped, arranged and dried by hand on paper. What's left is abstract: color, texture and the edges where the tea dried.

Here are the six designs:

• Rare Earth: rust, slate and cream. Earthy and warm.
• Clear Blue: layered blues, bright and clean.
• Blue Dream: deep blue, like water just before it moves.
• Calm Camomile: golden, the color of afternoon light.
• Purple Rain: rich, deep violet.
• Peacock Green: deep teal, blue and violet.

Each one comes in silk chiffon and silk-wool, in the oversized 52 by 52 inch size.
