To create this piece, I experimented with a mix of herbal teas, placing the bags without knowing exactly how they would print. Not until the the print was dry was I able to remove the tea bags and see the color they left.
Most left the golden-brown tones you’d expect, but a few surprised me with unexpected purples, adding depth and contrast to the composition. 40x50"
