What Makes Blue Dream Different
Blue Dream started as a painting I made when I was thinking about water.
Not a specific body of water. The idea of it. The way blue goes in multiple directions at once and still holds together as a color.
The tea bags I used that day were a mix. Some darker, some lighter. The way they arranged on the paper gave the painting a layered quality. You can see through parts of it.
On silk chiffon that quality gets amplified. Silk chiffon is already translucent. The layered blues in the painting become something you look into rather than at.
It's one of the quieter designs. Not loud. People who wear it tend to describe it as calming.
