Which Teascarf Brooklyn Scarf Is Right for You?
There are six Teascarf Brooklyn scarf designs. Each one starts as an original artwork made in Brooklyn with steeped tea bags on paper. Here's a quick way to choose, whether it's for you or a gift.
Start with the colors you wear most
- Navy, gray, black, denim: Blue Dream or Clear Blue
- Camel, brown, olive: Rare Earth or Calm Camomile
- Black, and you want color: Peacock Green or Purple Rain
- Not sure: Clear Blue
The six designs
Clear Blue
Layered blues. Named for Claire, who told me blue would be my most popular color. She was right. The easiest design to wear with everything.
Blue Dream
Layered blues, calm and serene. A quiet choice that works every day.
Rare Earth
Rust and gold, earthy and warm, finished with a deep burgundy edge. Made for camel coats and olive jackets.
Calm Camomile
Golden, the color of afternoon light. Soft and easy to pair.
Peacock Green
Deep peacock tones: blue, teal, and violet, with a lavender edge. Rich, and good for evening.
Purple Rain
Rich purple. A tribute in color, and the boldest of the six.
Then choose a size
- 24" small square: for the neck, hair, a bag, or the wrist. $79 in silk chiffon, $89 in silk-wool.
- 52" oversized: for wrapping, draping over the shoulders, or wearing with a winter coat. $175 in silk chiffon, $195 in silk-wool.
Then choose a fabric
- Silk chiffon: light and sheer. Best indoors, under a coat collar, or in milder weather.
- Silk-wool: 70% wool, 30% silk. Warm, with a herringbone texture. Best for fall and winter, and for draping.
