The Best Birthday Gift for Someone Who Loves Art
Share
The problem with buying art for someone is that art is personal.
What you like and what they like might not overlap. And a painting or a print goes on a wall, which means it has to work with everything else they own.
A scarf is different. It goes with them, not with their apartment. It's worn, not displayed. And if the person loves art, wearing something made from an original painting is a different kind of gift than buying them a poster.
Every scarf in this collection started as a painting made from tea bags on paper. The painting got photographed and printed on silk. The original no longer exists. The scarf is what's left.
That's a story worth telling on someone's birthday.
